Who We Are
The Arlington Outdoor Education Association (AOEA) partners with Arlington Public Schools (APS) to provide a facility and support for a school program designed to give Arlington students an opportunity to experience STEAM lessons in a natural setting in Fauquier County.
What We Do
The Phoebe Hall Knipling Outdoor Lab is owned and maintained by the nonprofit Arlington Outdoor Education Association (AOEA). Annually, the Lab provides hands-on outdoor and environmental education to approximately 9,000 Arlington students from elementary through high school.
