Volunteer Arlington, working in partnership with Arlington County, is creating a PILOT Snow Buddies Program which will supplement County snow removal efforts for a designated group of neighbors who are seniors, have a disability preventing them from removing snow, or homebound.
Volunteer Snow Buddies will be paired with 1-2 neighbors prior to the snow season and will self-activate throughout the winter season, following up with their neighbor to continue snow clearing efforts within 1-3 days of each snowfall.
Volunteers will need to attend a mandatory Information Session which will review details and next steps.
