This is a program led by GMU and True Ground staff, volunteers can expect:
Volunteer Camp Counselor (Ideally we would like to have the same volunteers throughout the camp!) -Volunteers will support the overall operations of the camp to ensure everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities include assisting with daily setup, organizing materials, and supporting general camp logistics. Volunteers will also help maintain an organized and efficient camp environment so that instructors and campers can focus on their work, with occasional light support provided to campers or staff as needed.
Spanish speaker could be beneficial but not required. Ideal is for this to be over 18, as the program is catered to 8-10th graders.
*All roles require setup and clean-up. Standing, bending, walking in indoors and outdoors, physical movement, and lifting equipment.
