This is a program led by staff; volunteers can expect:
Event Set Up Assistants (2:30-4:00)- Set up tables and activities
Popcorn Maker (2:45-4:00) - Make popcorn and have bags ready to go for residents!
Sign In Volunteer (3:55-5:45) - Welcome and sign in residents as they arrive for the event. Assist with check-in and answer basic questions. Bilingual volunteers are highly recommended!
Kids and Teen Activities:
Face Painter (3:30-7:00) - Create fun and colorful face paint designs.
Temporary Tattoo Artist (3:35-7:00) - Apply temporary tattoos and assist participants in selecting designs.
DIY Jewelry Maker (3:40-7:00) - Guide participants in creating their own jewelry pieces, provide basic instructions, and keep supplies organized.
55+ Lounge:
BINGO Announcer (3:45-7:00) - Call BINGO numbers clearly, keep the game moving smoothly, and help create an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for participants.
Dominoes/Card Games Host (3:50-7:00) - Assist residents with setting up and playing dominoes and explain game rules when needed
Event Break Down Assistants (6:00-7:00) - Assist with event clean-up by helping break down activity stations, return tables and chairs to their designated locations, organize and pack supplies, and ensure all materials are properly stored.
*All roles require setup and clean-up. Standing, bending, walking in and to different stations indoor and outdoor, physical movement, lifting equipment for game set up.
