Spend your evening bringing warmth and comfort to children in need. Volunteers will be making cozy no-sew fleece blankets that will be donated to the Children’s National Hospital Network, helping provide care and comfort to young patients during their hospital stay.
This hands-on project is a simple but meaningful way to brighten a child’s day and support families facing medical challenges. Blankets are easy to make and absolutely no prior experience is necessary.
This project is open to teens ages 11-18 and is eligible for 2 SSL hours. A vegetarian dinner will be provided. Advance RSVP is required.
