The People's Pantry (Weekday Mornings)

Description

Support the Resident Services with our food pantry located in one of our properties near the Bluemont neighborhood in Arlington, VA.

Please note signing up on here is only to express your interest, one of our staff members will reach out with confirmation and next steps. If you do not hear back by the volunteer opportunity it may be because that volunteer opportunity has been filled. This is a program led by volunteers; volunteers can expect:

-Assist with check in (able to be sitting or standing, must be comfortable working on a laptop, bilingual preferred but not required.)

-Assist with restocking (includes standing, reaching overhead, crouching, and lifting up to 15 lbs)

-Floater (includes assisting residents while they shop, and cleaning/organizing as needed)

Volunteers are invited to bring family or friends, please let us know when you receive your confirmation email.

Please wear closed toed shoes and wear comfortable clothing.
