The Community Services Program (CSP) works with recent immigrants and other under-served populations throughout Arlington to help them acquire the tools needed to live and succeed in the United States.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome clients as they arrive and ask them to sign in.
· Maintain the reception area so that it is organized and welcoming.
· Update the resource bulletin board with current job openings, health, and event information.
· Direct clients to other programs and services as appropriate, i.e. ESL classes, employment center, Project Family, etc.
· Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying and filing.
Dates, Times & Location:
· Flexible Hours – choose from one or more shifts:
o Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
o 3-4 hour shifts between 9:00 – 4:00

Qualifications:
· Satisfactory completion of the County volunteer application, confidentiality form, and individual interview
· Minimum 21 years of age
· Excellent customer service skills and patience in interacting with people
· Ability to read, understand and speak basic English
· Comfortable using standard office equipment
· Responsible, independent worker, organized, ability to use good judgment
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client information
Bi-lingual English/Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Mongolian or other language preferred. Ability to use Language Line as needed, training provided.
