VA Refugee Student Achievement Project needs your help! As a VRSAP Tutor, you will support our staff in:
- Helping students succeed in education through tutoring and mentoring youth.
- Monitoring the academic progress of students
- Maintaining regular communication with parents, students and staff
- Encouraging refugee parents to play an active role in their children's education
- Maintaining a refugee student database to track participation

This opportunity covers the Arlington Diocese: Alexandria, Manassas, Fredericksburg, and the Occoquan areas. It is primarily a remote opportunity and has night and weekend hours. You will work with the student and family to find time to help.
This volunteer opportunity will require:
- Background check
- Adult and child protection training
- VIRTUS training
There will be program-specific training as well.
