Join Wild Virginia's book club on the second Monday of each month at 7pm via Zoom!

On Monday, March 10 at 7pm we will discuss Birding to Change the World: A Memoir by Trish O'Kane. Birding helps Trish O'Kane to heal from the devastation of hurricane Katrina and leads the human rights journalist to make a career change. As an environmental science student in Madison, WI she continues to find healing among the birds. and fellow nature lovers in urban Warner Park. When the park's natural areas and their inhabitants are threatened she and her fellow urban nature lovers flock together to save them.

April 14- Fen, Bog and Swamp: A Short History of Peatland Destruction and Its Role in the Climate Crisis by Annie Proulx. An exploration of the history and ecological importance of wetlands.
