Feeding Hope Project

We are Yorktown High School juniors who founded the Feeding Hope Project during our freshman year with a shared commitment to fighting food insecurity. Since then, we have grown the organization into a student-led nonprofit that mobilizes youth, families, and schools to make a meaningful impact in our community.

The Feeding Hope Project fights food insecurity by organizing large-scale food and supply drives in partnership with organizations such as Loudoun Hunger Relief and AFAC. Founded by Fiona Bensten and Arden, we mobilize students and families to collect thousands of pounds of food and essential items for those in need. By involving kids and teens in hands-on service, we turn community action into real impact while teaching the importance of compassion, leadership, and giving back.
