Friends of Arlington's Planetarium

The Friends of Arlington's Planetarium (FOAP) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the planetarium in Arlington, VA, and promoting science education for the general public. FOAP's mission is to promote and support Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium as an accessible community resource for all people to learn, engage, and be inspired by the wonders of science and the universe. 

The Friends offer public programming programming at the planetarium, community access to planetarium events, community outreach events, awards an annual college scholarship, and supports Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) professional development for teachers in Arlington Public Schools.
