Share of McLean

Share of McLean is an all-volunteer, community-based nonprofit that teams with individual donors and partner organizations to assist our neighbors who face food insecurity, economic hardships or related challenges.

Share of McLean provides emergency assistance to neighbors in need in Northern Virginia, primarily those living in zip codes 22101, 22102, 22066, and the Pimmit section of 22043. Our clients, referred by County social workers or other social service agencies, include the elderly, disabled, marginally employed, and unemployed. Our programs offer financial assistance as well as the distribution of food, clothing, and recycled furniture. Nearly 100% of donations directly benefit our clients because we are an all-volunteer organization.
