Arlington Neighborhood Village

Our mission is to enable older adults to continue living safely, independently, and with an enhanced quality of life in their own homes and communities as they age by providing access to support services and social programs. Our work improves the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of older adults in our community.

Volunteers make our county-wide village work. We will work with you to match our members’ needs to your preferences, schedules, and skills – providing transportation, running errands, assisting with light home repairs, technology, and more.  Some ANV volunteers create and manage social engagements to reduce isolation and foster a sense of connection and engagement with the community. Others lend their expertise behind the scenes with all the tasks that make an organization run smoothly—from practical, daily tasks like finance and IT to strategic efforts like fundraising and long-range planning.  All volunteers support our mission of enabling Arlington seniors to remain in their homes and communities as they age.
