Join us in making the LookArlington pop-up gallery an engaging, welcoming experience for artists, neighbors, and visitors. We’re seeking friendly, flexible volunteers to support gallery operations during open hours. No prior art or volunteer experience is required—just a positive attitude and willingness to jump in where help is needed. Volunteer Role: Greeter / Gallery Assistant Volunteers may serve in a mix of support and front-of-house roles, depending on the day’s needs. Responsibilities may include: Greeting guests as they arrive and offering a brief orientation to the space Serving as the first point of contact for visitors and helping them navigate the gallery Assisting with workshops and large-scale community projects (murals, printmaking, etc.) Supporting artists, workshop leaders, and staff during events or busy periods Helping set up, reset, or tidy gallery and activity spaces Answering basic questions about daily activities and amenities Reporting any theft or issues observed during a shift A friendly demeanor, comfort interacting with the public, and flexibility are key.
