Join us for our "How Does Your Garden Grow?" Volunteer Project at our North Arlington home!!! 

CRi, Choice. Respect. independence. is a community-based organization with a focused effort on providing people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs the resources, supports and services they need to live their lives with purpose, actively engaged in communities of their choosing. We believe in serving individuals within the communities in which they live and supporting the individual's choices and independence.

In recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (March) and Volunteer Appreciation Month (April), CRi is hosting a large-scale volunteer project at several of our homes in Northern Virginia. This is a way for us to raise awareness for individuals with developmental disabilities, and breakdown barriers between our individuals and the communities in which they live. 

Project Details

Volunteers will participate in an outdoor gardening project that will entail:

Laying mulchPulling weedsPlanting seedsTrimming bushesStaining decksPrepping indoor garden
