-Setup/Breakdown lead 2:30-4:30 PM: decorate the cupcake table, blow up balloons, give out gifts.

-Greeter and Sign-in volunteer 2:35-4:35 PM: assist with all duties mentioned. Volunteer work consists of but not limited to standing, moving rolling tables, physicality, smiling, and greeting residents

-Greeter and Sign-in volunteer 2:05-4:35 PM: Set up the treat bags to grab and go make sure youth sign-in and out. Help Monitor youth and clean up at the end.

-Volunteer Floater 2:10-4:40 PM: help monitor youth, distribute treat bags at exit and clean up at the end.

Volunteer may consist of walking, bending, moving rolling chairs and tables, standing, event indoors

Volunteer Facilitator 11:20-1:30 - Greet residents and direct them to sign in and find seating, and start the live virtual class on time (Resident Services Coordinator will handle the technical setup)
Volunteer Assistant 11:30-1:30 Support room setup and breakdown, arrange food on tables for residents to pick up as they arrive

Both roles require standing, walking, no lifting, moving rolling tables and chairs, speaking and guiding residents with instruction.

Set Up 5:30-6:30- Assist staff in setting up decorations, food, tables, and chairs. Volunteer may be asked to move up to 10 lbs, this opportunity involves walking around with periods of standing and sitting.
Food Assistance 5:55-7:55- Assist in handing out food, drink and snack options to residents attending with staff instruction. May be sitting or standing,
Sign In 6:00-8:00- Sign in residents as they arrive to the event with staff instruction. May be sitting or standing.
Break Down 7:30-8:30- Help take down decorations, return tables and chairs to original location, clean and organize following event. This volunteer may need to move up to 10 lbs and involves walking around with periods of standing and sitting.

This is a program led by staff; volunteers can expect:
Greeter & Gifts 4:15-7:15 - Welcome attendees and support the sign-in process. Hand out gifts to fathers as they exit
Food & Beverage Support 4:20-7:15 - Help guide residents to food and drink stations
Floater 4:30-7:15 - Assist with tasks as needed throughout the event. Reset games and keep activity areas ready (e.g., setting up the chess board)

*All roles require setup and clean-up. Standing, bending, walking in and to different stations indoor and outdoor, physical movement, lifting equipment for game set up.

Thank you for your interst in volunteering with us. We are opening a new Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) distribution site for the Westover Community. We would love to have volunteers assist with this weekly distribution. Our volunteers need to be 16 years old or over or if the person is under 16 they must be supervised by an adult/guardian.
