Each fall we gather at Gulf Branch Nature Center to celebrate our heritage with a family-friendly day of fun. Step back into history and try your hand at some old-time games and crafts, make a corn husk doll, churn butter, dip candles and work the cider press!
We need assistance with running booths, clean-up, and set-up.
We have 3 main time slots:
10am-12pm – Set up for the day – move tables and benches, set up materials
12:30pm-4:30pm – Help out at a booth – we have a number of booths we could use assistance with, see which one sounds like fun to you! Please specify your interest for a specific booth.
- Butter churn booth
Show folks how butter was made the old-fashioned way, help kids churn butter, then try some out with fresh bread! - Pumpkin painting booth Flex your creativity and help kids paint mini pumpkins to take home!
