Course Marshal Volunteer
**Description**
Join us in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the Arlington Turkey Trot by volunteering as a Course Marshal! As a Course Marshal, you'll be stationed along the 5K route to guide participants, provide directions, and offer encouragement. This vital role helps maintain order and safety during the event, making it enjoyable for everyone involved.
**Responsibilities**
- Directing runners and walkers along the designated course.
- Ensuring participants follow the correct route.
- Providing support and encouragement to participants.
- Reporting any issues or emergencies to event coordinators.
- Assisting with crowd control and ensuring the safety of all participants.
**Requirements**
- Must be available from 6:45 AM to 10:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive and supportive attitude.
