Resident Services staff will lead a back to school Ice Cream Bar event at Arlington Mill Residences. Volunteers are needed to support this event with set up, assistance during the event, and breakdown. Please see slots available below and choose one that you're willing to help with.
Set Up (2 volunteers needed): Volunteers are asked to be present from 4:30-5:30 PM to assist with setting up for the event and to sign residents in as they arrive. Volunteers will be asked to be moving around and may be reaching over head and lifting items up to 15 lbs. Bilingual preferred but not required.
Event Assistance (3 volunteers needed): Volunteers are asked to be present from 5:00-6:00 PM. Volunteers are asked to help sign in residents as they arrive to the event, let them know about upcoming events with flyers placed on registration table, take photographs of event, serve residents ice cream and toppings based on their preference. Volunteers can complete this task sitting or standing. Bilingual preferred but not required. Volunteers will be working with children and adults.
Break Down (2 volunteers needed): Volunteers are asked to be present from 5:30-6:30 PM. Volunteers are asked to help breaking down any decorations, organizing community room and cleaning from the event as it concludes. Volunteers will be moving around community room and can expect to life items up to 15 lbs. This event will take place indoors in a climate controlled community room.
