Support the Resident Services with our food pantry located in one of our properties near the Ballston neighborhood in Arlington, VA.
This is a program led by volunteers; volunteers can expect:
-Assist with check in (able to be sitting or standing, must be comfortable working on a laptop, bilingual preferred but not required.)
-Assist with restocking (includes standing, reaching overhead, crouching, and lifting up to 15 lbs)
-Floater (includes assisting residents while they shop, and cleaning/organzing as needed)
Volunteers are invited to bring family or friends, please let us know when you receive your confirmation email.
Please wear closed toed shoes and wear comfortable clothing.
Hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-1pm or 3-6pm
Fridays 10-1pm
Saturdays 9-12pm
Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the Pantry opens which is reflected in the shift times below.
