Edu-Futuro is seeking a facilitator or coach to design and lead a virtual workshop focused on emotional intelligence, stress management, and resilience for our staff. Our team works directly with families experiencing chronic absenteeism, workforce challenges, and other stressors affecting underserved communities.
Objective:
The goal is to provide staff with practical tools to manage emotional impact, maintain healthy boundaries, and strengthen empathy and communication skills when supporting families in challenging circumstances.
Ideal Facilitator:
Background in psychology, social work, trauma-informed care, or emotional intelligence training.
Experience working with community-based or social service organizations preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly desired.
Engaging and interactive facilitation style, focused on practical strategies.
Topics May Include:
Managing emotional fatigue and compassion stress
Setting healthy boundaries while maintaining empathy
Techniques for self-regulation and stress recovery
Communication tools for sensitive or high-stress situations
Building resilience and emotional well-being at work
Format:
1–2 virtual sessions (60–90 minutes each), interactive and reflective.
Impact:
This workshop will directly support the well-being and effectiveness of our staff, enabling them to assist families better while maintaining their own emotional health and balance.
It can be online or in-person on any Thursday from 10am to 12pm
