- Narcan saves lives!
This is an in-person service project. Volunteers will meet at Washington-Liberty High School. To get started, we will provide a brief listen & learn and Narcan training at the high school. Each participant will also receive a box of Narcan.
From there, volunteers will be equipped by AARI with the supplies needed to distribute Narcan as well as post flyers with information on how people can request Narcan for free. Volunteers will receive a map of a designated area in Arlington with potential locations to hang flyers (libraries, rec centers, apartments, businesses, etc.)
Each volunteer will also be educated on how to respond to questions they might receive while out in the community sharing the good news of AARI.
Note: Volunteers will need to drive or use public transportation to get to their specified neighborhood in Arlington.
