What: Fam-Club is a fun and meaningful way for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children and their families who are overcoming homelessness. Volunteers play games, do arts & crafts, get creative, and have fun with children and families living in Community of Hope's family shelters.
• Mondays & Tuesdays at The Aya (10-minute walk from the Navy Yard and Waterfront Metro stops). • Tuesdays at Girard Street (near the Columbia Heights Metro stop. • Wednesdays & Thursdays at The Triumph (plenty of free parking; bus ride from Southern Ave. Metro) Who: We take individual volunteers or groups of up to six volunteers. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.Volunteers can come once, regularly, or when it fits their schedule. Please contact volunteer@cohdc.org if you would like to schedule a group.
