Opportunities From: Volunteer Arlington

Starting September 3, 2025

Support Casa Chirilagua's after school academic, spiritual and emotional learning for elementary (grades 1-5) Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays at our neighborhood community center. 

Chirilagua is located in Arlandria and home to many Central American families eager to support their children's learning. 

Note: Our after school program runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 3-5:30pm, we welcome volunteers to arrive anytime between 3-4pm as their schedules allow. 

Commitment: We ask volunteers to commit to at least a semester of regular volunteering (3+ times a month). This allows for better relationship building all around. 

Starting September 2, 2025

Support Casa Chirilagua's after school academic, spiritual and emotional learning for middle school (grades 6-8) Tuesdays or Thursdays at our neighborhood community center. 

Chirilagua is located in Arlandria and home to many Central American families eager to support their children's learning. 

Note: Our after school program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-6pm. (Thursday is a Bible study, volunteers are asked to sign the Apostles Creed as a statement of faith to serve this day).

Commitment: We ask volunteers to commit to at least a semester of regular volunteering (2+ times a month). This allows for better relationship building all around.

Starting September 2, 2025

Chirilagua is located in Arlandria and home to many Central American families eager to support their children's learning. 

Note: Our after school program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm. (Thursday is a Bible study, volunteers are asked to sign the Apostles Creed as a statement of faith to serve this day).

Commitment: We ask volunteers to commit to at least a semester of regular volunteering (3+ times a month). This allows for better relationship building all around.

Note: Our summer programs will run from June 30 to July 18, Monday through Thursday, from 1:00–4:00 PM. We encourage volunteers to arrive by 12:45 PM to help us start on time, but if you're only able to get there by 1:00 PM, that’s totally fine.

Commitment: We ask that each volunteer commit to at least two days per week. This consistency really helps build meaningful connections with the students and creates a stronger team environment.
