Volunteer: Advance Arlington Seeks New Board of Directors Members

Advance Arlington, (formerly Arlington Committee of 100), currently is seeking applications for its 2025-2026 Board of Directors. Advance Arlington is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that supports civic education and engagement on issues involving community life in Arlington. 

The organization primarily fulfills its mission by sponsoring monthly programs, usually eight programs annually.

Board members provide leadership in governance, policy-making, and fiduciary and strategic functions. They also help secure financial resources and monitor program activities.

Board members are expected to attend bimonthly board meetings and participate in one of three committees: Program, Marketing and Communications, and Membership and Outreach. The Program Committee develops and produces the organization's monthly programs; its members typically serve as lead producers of the programs.

In particular, Advance Arlington is looking for board members with a passion for Arlington who have one or more of the following skills:
