Arctoberfest is The Arc of Northern Virginia’s signature Halloween-themed fundraiser and celebration—bringing together individuals, families, and community champions for a day of inclusive fun and meaningful impact! This all-ages event is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and sensory-friendly, with two time slots to enjoy the festivities. In the afternoon, join us in our Halloween Hangout for a scavenger hunt, face painting, and family-friendly fun. Then in the evening, dance the night away at our Halloween Dance Party, with the first hour designed to be sensory-friendly for a more comfortable experience. Costumes encouraged. Fun guaranteed!
An event this size doesn't happen without a sizable work crew to pull it off. We're so thankful that you're willing to help. The nature of preparing for and executing this event requires groups of volunteers. We are looking to fill slots in four shift areas. You may choose to volunteer for just one shift or more than one shift, It is entirely up to you!
