Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary will be hosting a Garden Day to get our school gardens and fruit orchard ready for summer break.
Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Come by to lend a hand as we:
- weed and mulch our 20+ raised garden beds.
- plant seeds for our summer and fall crop
- water and mulch our new orchard of 30+ fruit trees and berry bushes
We have gloves, tools, and a refreshment table will be provided.
