Description

The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) is looking for volunteers for their annual Down Syndrome Advocacy Conference on April 28th and April 29th. NDSS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Washington, DC that empowers individuals with Down syndrome and their families by driving policy change, providing resources, engaging with local communities, and shifting public perceptions.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to support attendees with Down syndrome and their families and caregivers from all over the country in a variety of different ways at the conference. Volunteers will also be provided swag, merch and breakfast and/or lunch. Half-day and full-day opportunities are available.  Hours are flexible over the two days!

If you are interested in volunteering your time to support the disability community, connecting with a national organization headquartered in the DMV, or getting experience with large-scale policy and advocacy efforts, this opportunity is for you!
