Who We Are
We are a group of improvisers who are passionate about the fulfillment that we unexpectedly found through exploring the art form. We focus on applied improv over performance, and hope to expose new people every month to the possibilities inspired by mutual support and collaboration in a creative context.
Resonance Improv Alliance is fiscally sponsored by CORE Foundation Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 20-5997764.
What We Do
Resonance Improv Alliance brings comedians together with the community to spread joy. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals to build meaningful connections through the principles of improvisational theatre. We host community workshops and public shows to share laughter. We partner with local nonprofit organizations to reach the underserved, notably our workshops for individuals living with Parkinson's and dementia and their care partners through Inova Parkinsons and Movement Disorder Center in partnership with Insight Memory Care Centers.
