Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We believe in a world where everyone is included, accepted, and given the opportunity to thrive. Through a global network of volunteers, participants, and supporters, we build meaningful connections and create communities rooted in friendship, leadership, and inclusion.

Best Buddies offers life-changing programs that empower individuals with IDD to form one-to-one friendships, develop leadership skills, secure integrated employment, and live more independently. Our key initiatives include: Friendship Programs that foster genuine, lasting connections Leadership Development that equips individuals with the tools to advocate for themselves and others Integrated Employment that helps participants find meaningful jobs Inclusive Living that supports independent and supported living opportunities From schools to workplaces to communities, we are creating a more inclusive world—one friendship at a time.
