United Rocks

United Rocks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the transformative sport of rock climbing. Our mission is to promote physical, mental, and social skills through the sport of rock climbing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In just three years, our vision of making rock climbing accessible to individuals with IDD has grown into a thriving movement. With teams practicing weekly at multiple locations, we are changing lives—one climb at a time. What began with just five climbers in February 2022 in Plano, TX has now impacted over 800 individuals, including their families, coaches, and dedicated volunteers in 5 states! At every practice, our climbers embody courage, perseverance, and joy, proving that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
