Who We Are
RISE started 6 years ago on as a volunteer passion project and was formalized in 2024. Many of the juveniles who came into contact with the court system experienced many barriers and RISE came about to fill that void.
What We Do
RISE stands for Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Empowerment.
It is the juvenile court mentoring program for at-risk youth in Arlington County and the City of Falls Church. Mentors and mentees attend monthly in-person events at different sites around Arlington, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C., to offer mentees exposure to new and positive experiences and bonding opportunities with their mentors.
