Who We Are
Arlington Independent Media (AIM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit membership organization (tax ID 54-1217109) and community media center in Arlington, Virginia. AIM is dedicated to promoting freedom of expression, fostering diverse voices, and providing a platform for local content creators. AIM operates a public access television station and a low-power FM radio station, WERA 96.7 FM, serving the Arlington and broader DC metro community.
What We Do
Arlington Independent Media supports, educates, and inspires diverse creators and fosters independent media production through community television, radio, and digital arts. We provide training and access to media technologies and facilitate the creation of video, audio, web and digital content. AIM is committed to cultivating the voices in our community that might otherwise not be heard.
