Today, we serve beneficiaries from many countries, for a better future for underserved families. We offer programs at schools: Emerging Leaders Programs, for young students - Parent Empowerment Services, for their parents and - Workforce Development Services
What We Do
Edu-Futuro is a 501(c)(3) founded in 1998 based in Arlington, City of Alexandria, Fairfax and Prince William Counties. Our mission is to empower vulnerable youth and families through mentorship, education, leadership development, parent engagement, and workforce development.; the work of Edu-Futuro is focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through the power of education. Each year, we serve nearly 4,000 youth and adults, providing students with a path to high school graduation and college enrollment through the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) and Chronic Absenteeism Program (CAP), while simultaneously training and inspiring their parents through our Parent Empowerment Services (PES) and Workforce Development Services (WDS). Our programs are open to all students and parents in Northern Virginia, and every one of our services is provided completely free of charge.
